tOS Communication Data Deletion
Effective October 15, 2026
You can request deletion of information held by The Tech Square through its tOS Instagram integration.
Send a request
Email info@thetechsquare.ca with the subject tOS Instagram data deletion. Include your Instagram username, the business account you contacted (@thetechsquare.ca or @thetechsquare.shop), and what information you want deleted. An approximate conversation date helps us find the relevant records.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card details or identity documents with your initial request.
What happens next
We will verify the request using only the information needed to identify the relevant records, review what tOS holds and arrange deletion of applicable information. We will reply with the outcome and explain any records we must retain and why. This is a manually handled request, not an instant automated deletion service.
The current integration reads message bodies from Instagram rather than keeping a separate message-body archive in its database. Deleting tOS records does not delete the original Instagram conversation, copies held by other participants, or unrelated purchase and service records.
Disconnecting a business account
An account owner can revoke tOS Communication-IG through Instagram’s Apps and websites settings. This stops authorized access; email us separately to request removal of stored tOS connection information and related records.
